A feature of this game was the amount of foul throw-ins and the next goal was a result of a foul throw by Convoy. Cockhill, on 81 minutes, were awarded the throw and quick thinking by Eddie McKinney put Aiden O’Donnell clear. His high ball into the box was put away expertly by Mike Doherty for the hat trick and match ball, to put the home side 4-2 up and out of sight.
